I am a junior in the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma. I’m pursuing a bachelor of journalism in  professional writing with a minor in Middle Eastern studies to be conferred May 2011.

Already immersed in writers’ society, I was a photographer for the campus newspaper, The Oklahoma Daily, in spring 2008.

Over the summer of 2008, I interned for the Fort Worth, Texas Magazine editorial department and gained experience in feature writing, researching and interviewing.

I am familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Image Composer and have worked with Photo Mechanic and Adobe Photoshop. My coursework includes hard news, feature, meeting and in-depth stories.
